Toyinda L. Smith is an inspirational speaker, consultant, coach, champion influence® infuser, and the author of ‘The Handbook to Unleash Your Potential.’ She is the principal of Leadership Strategy & Consulting, LLC, a team and leader advancement and development firm where she positions people to be champions in education, business, athletics and leadership through innovation and providing execution focused solutions.

For over 14 years, Toyinda held leadership roles at Purdue University, honing her ability to guide diverse individuals and groups to winning in every area of the mindset, activating transformational leadership and creating lasting impact. Toyinda earned an associate’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision and double bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology at Purdue University. She has a master’s degree in student affairs and higher education from Indiana State University.

Toyinda moved to Hartsville from Indiana in August of 2015. She is the President and CEO of Legacy of Women, Incorporated, a 501c3 organization that aims to inspire the heart of women towards healthy living, meaningful giving and transformational leading fostering legacy building. She owns the Hartsville Balloon Company, LLC, serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Coker College in Communication, is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated and is a track and field coach in Hartsville, SC.

Joyce Hill is presently the President and creator of the KPI Fusion Company, a Training and Development company.  The name of the company gives you a clue in what she believes in.  The K stands for Knowledge, the P for Power and I for Impact.  If you have knowledge and power, you can produce an impact.   She has developed and conducted workshops on Women and Leadership and served as a consultant for companies in the local area. Prior to starting her own company, she worked with Honda of South Carolina manufacturing as the Associate Development Administrator. She has over 35 combined years in work force development, education and manufacturing.

In 2016, she was named a finalist for the SC Human Resources person of the year for her innovative approaches towards development.   She has served on the Pee Dee Workforce Development Board for over 10 years and as the chair from 2015-2018.

She has been married for over 40 years to Bobby and mother to 2 sons, Robby and Ryan and grandmother to Hayden and Charlie.

Jamar K. Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business and a master’s degree in human resource management from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, where he studied business management with a specialization in human resources and entrepreneurship. In 2015, Jamar completed the nationally accredited Certified Public Manager development program, and was identified as a future leader in South Carolina state government.

With more than 14 total years of human resources experience, including five as an employee relations manager, Jamar is skilled in the art of mediation and the art of resolving difficult and delicate workplace issues. He was named by University of South Carolina’s Housing Department as an “Outstanding Campus Partner” in 2016 for his guidance on handling sensitive and difficult human resource issues.

A warm smile, inspirational approach and total commitment to helping others succeed are just a few of the many characteristics people are drawn to when they first meet Dr. Monique C. Johnson.  Founder of Dr. MCJ Consulting, LLC, a boutique based consulting and coaching firm. Dr. Monique has built her reputation as a Career Coach and Diversity Consultant for clients at all stages of life.  Her inherent talents coupled with a wide breadth of knowledge and expertise in a variety of subjects related to diversity, professional advancement, recruitment/retention and community development have helped hundreds of individuals and organizations open doors, break barriers and ultimately elevate their games!

Dr. Monique Johnson earned her doctorate degree from The Pennsylvania State University in Counselor Education with a focus in Higher Education Administration and a minor in Human Resource Development.  She is a National Certified Counselor and was actively involved in creating and facilitating a school-based diversity initiative for educators and school staff called Champions for Change.

Chris Honeycutt serves as a certified speaker, leadership trainer, and personal coach with The John Maxwell Team. He is also the Founder and Lead Consultant of Realm Solutions, a network of talented speakers, coaches, and creative professionals dedicated towards positioning organizations for future growth. “Adding value” is something he aims to do at conferences and workshops for organizations big and small. This means building quality leaders within and helping them to better engage others. He graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Church Ministries and has 15 years in full-time ministry with six of those as Lead Pastor of a non-denominational church plant.

Chris is married to his beautiful wife Heather. They have a rambunctious six-year-old son named Nelson that is a joy to their life! They reside in Chapin, SC. Chris enjoys playing guitar, going to the beach, and traveling the country! He also happens to be a big fan of dark coffee, barbecue, the NC State Wolfpack, and the Carolina Panthers.
